David’s musical aspirations started at just two years old when he began playing the drums. By age 12, he was playing gigs around Boston and by age 16 had launched his career with a consulting business around MIDI—a technology that was brand new at the time and is now the basis of all digital music. As word of mouth spread about David’s electronic endeavors, so did his depth of knowledge for all types of audio and related technology, instrumentation, equipment, production, and artistry.
His next chapter started when Aerosmith brought him into their camp as their in-house engineer/technologist from 1989 to 2002. Over the years, David has worked on dozens of projects with the band including multiple albums, technology for their tours, videos, amusement park rides and arcade games, co-producing the theme song for the Spider-Man animated television series with Joe Perry, and much more.
Since then, David has worked with hundreds of artists including the Stones, Ringo Starr, Elton John, Sting, Bryan Adams, Carl Palmer, Journey, Desmond Child, Styx, Ricky Martin, Kiss, Phil Collins, Shakira, Rascal Flatts, Pat Metheny, Ozzy Osbourne, and Chick Corea. He is a recipient of dozens of gold and platinum albums as technical consultant, engineer, and/or programmer. David has also consulted on next-generation products with industry icons such as Head Monster Noel Lee (Monster Cable) and Evan Brooks (co-inventor of Pro Tools).
In addition, David is the founder of Audio One, one of the most successful and awarded A/V firms in the U.S, as well as multimedia design, installation and content company Frangioni Media. He has built hundreds of home, commercial and pro technology/sound/automation installations to date.
He is also the founder and leader of All Access IDA: Inspire & Develop Artists, a 360-degree solution that helps modern artists emerge into the spotlight through a powerful network of professionals and specialized coaching services as well as a published author with three best-selling books.
